Returns & Refunds Policy – Tita’s Cakes
At Tita’s Cakes, every cake and cupcake is freshly baked with care. Because our products are perishable food items, we’re unable to accept returns the way a clothing or retail store might. However, you are protected under Australian Consumer Law, and we’ll always make things right if there’s a genuine issue.
When you’re entitled to a refund or replacement
You are entitled to a refund, replacement or credit if your order:
- Arrives damaged or spoiled,
- Is different from what you ordered, or
- Does not meet the quality we promised.
Please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order at titascakessyd@gmail.com with your order number and photos if possible, so we can quickly review and resolve the issue.
When we cannot offer a refund
We are unable to accept returns or offer refunds in cases where:
- You change your mind after purchase,
- You fail to collect your order, or
- Products are not stored correctly after pickup or delivery.
Because our cakes and cupcakes are made-to-order and highly perishable, we cannot resell or reuse items once they leave our store.
Exchanges
Exchanges are not available for perishable items. If there’s a problem with your order, we’ll work with you to arrange a suitable solution under Australian Consumer Law.
Refund process
If your refund is approved, we’ll process it back to your original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
